Cincinnati Police are looking for a motive in a downtown shooting that left 4 dead including the gunman. Just after 9 a.m., police say that suspect started shooting in the loading bay of the Fifth-Third Bank tower at 5th and Walnut. Chief Eliot Isaac says it continued into the lobby of the building. He says the gunman died after exchanging gunfire with officers. Isaac spoke  to the media at the scene:

Police  in Cincinnati continue to investigate a mass shooting at a  nightclub early Sunday morning  WEKU’s Cheri Lawson reports one person was killed and at least 15 were injured.

Gunfire broke out in the early morning hours inside the Cameo Nightclub in Cincinnati’s East End. Police are looking for more than one shooter.

A Cincinnati-based animal rights group filed an official complaint against the Cincinnati Zoo. Stop Animal Exploitation NOW is upset over the death of an endangered gorilla that was killed Saturday after a three-year old boy fell into a zoo enclosure.

Northern Ky. Police Target ‘Rush Hour’ Heroin

The Fort Thomas Police Department is running what it terms a "heroin rush hour" enforcement program. 

The anti-drug unit, comprised of three northern Kentucky officers, is tasked with working to get heroin-affected drivers off highways.

Communities large and small benefit from having a thriving arts climate. But in any given town, while the symphony or art museum may be a leader in terms of patronage, many organizations struggle to get by as athey live in the shadows of better organized groups.
