A group of people from Richmond, Kentucky and surrounding towns banded together to raise money and feed the miners affected by the BlackJewel Mining bankruptcy.

Chris Ward of Lexington and Dr. Carl Root, a professor at Eastern Kentucky University tells WEKU about the experience.
