Ky. Legislature Mid-Point Update on Eastern Standard

Feb 8, 2014

As the 2014 session of the Kentucky General Assembly approaches the mid-point, what has the state's legislative branch achieved so far this year?  What is likely to be accomplished by the end of this 60-day session?  These are questions we will pursue in this week's show, originating "live" from the State Capitol in Frankfort.

Guests for the show will be: Representative Greg Stumbo (D), Speaker of the House and Senator Robert Stivers II (R), Senate President.

In a separate segment of the program, a panel of journalists covering the Kentucky Legislature will participate in a "Reporter's Roundtable" discussion.  Our guests: Bill Goodman, host and managing editor of KET's Kentucky Tonight; Jonathan Meador, Statehouse Bureau Reporter for Kentucky Public Radio; and John Cheves of the Lexington Herald-Leader.

We’re interested in your comments and questions before the show by email to wekueasternstandard at gmail dot com or on the phone at 859-622-1657.

We will also take listener calls, emails and tweets during the show Thursday morning at 11:00 on the WEKU Stations.
