The Two-Way
'Rapture' Preacher Harold Camping Suffers Stroke
By Mark Memmott
The radio preacher who warned the world that the Rapture would begin on May 21 is in the hospital after suffering a stroke.
Harold Camping, 89, was taken ill last Thursday evening at his Alameda, Calif., home, the Oakland Tribune reported over the weekend.
Fox News says there should be an update about Camping's condition posted at some point today on the website of Camping's Family Radio Worldwide network.
After May 21 came and went with no apparent Rapture, Camping said he'd made a mistake — and that the world will be destroyed on Oct. 21.
