The Two-Way
Cornell University Hosts Its First Ever 80th Class Reunion
By Eyder Peralta
Talk about longevity: Cornell University will host what it says is its first-in-its-history 80th class reunion. The class graduated in 1931 and the 30 remaining members are 102 years old.
"Decades ago, the class was dubbed 'The Thirty-Wonders'," the school said in a press release. Two alumni are planning to attend the reunion today. Bill Vanneman, another '31 alumni who helped planned the reunion, unfortunately didn't make it: He died April 26.
